Design Elements

Pergolas - A pergola is a wooden shade structure.  Though these are excellent to reduce sun exposure, pergolas and patio walls also add interesting architectural elements to the back of a home.

“Stone” Walls - Walls serve to define the space and provide the feel of an outdoor room.  The blocks used are are made to appear like stone and give the structure an almost castle-like quality.  In addition, walls built in this way can also provide seating.

Privacy Screens - Many of you are familiar with the lack of privacy provided in many newer neighborhoods.  By incorporating screens into the design, a great deal of privacy can be gained without the need to pay thousands of additional dollars to construct a fence.

Fire Pits - Whether incorporated directly into a patio design or located elsewhere on the property, fire pits can greatly enhance the outdoor experience and lengthen the season when the outdoors can be enjoyed.

Pathways - Pathways can enhance both the utility and character of your landscape.

Fencing - Privacy can be the key to your enjoyment of your outdoor space.  Many of our lots provide more the feeling of being in a fishbowl than in a private yard.  Fencing can also help to define your space and showcase your landscape.
